BLLE_CHF_PF_TETE2012 Pouilly Fuissé de Château Fuissé, “Tête de Cru” JJ Vincent

Incredibly, this special cuvée represents the work of five generations of winemakers of the Vincent family – complex and creamy with wonderful texture and concentration.
The Pouilly-Fuissé “Tête de Cru” is essentially fifty different parcels blended into one bottle. The age of the vines here range from between 15 and 30 years, sourced from vineyards in and around Mount Pouilly and the blend is built up over a period of several months.
Château de Fuissé has been under the ownership of the Vincent family since 1862 with each of the five generations building up the vineyard holdings and consolidating the property’s reputation as one of the leading producers in the Mâconnais.  Today, the Domaine is under the guidance of Antoine Vincent, who not only manages the running of the estate, but is also responsible for the winemaking.
Château Fuissé also remains a family home and is rich in history.  It is instantly recognisable by its distinctive 15th Century pentagonal tower and renaissance porch, and is one of the great landmarks of the renowned Pouilly Fuissé region.
Classically paired with flat white fish and butter sauce, or chicken with a tarragon cream and light mustard sauce
