Lestrille is located in the small town of St. Germain du Puch, on the northern point of Entre-deux-Mers. The Entre-deux-Mers is one of Bordeaux’s largest appellations, and translates as “between two seas,” signifying its positions between the large Garonne and Dordogne rivers.
The 95 hectare estate is owned and managed by Estelle Roumage and husband Jean-Louis, who have used the services of renowned consultant and Bordeaux-based oenologist Michel Rolland. The family employ 'lutte raisonnée' - essentially the control of chemical treatments - in their cultivation of grapes, developing pragmatic agricultural practices with respect to the environment.
Delicious with roasted red meats, pan fried steak or duck

"At 14% abv it is weighty but well balanced, with good medium intensity cherry and rich red plum, restrained use of oak allowing the fruit to really shine." Decanter magazine, 2011 vintage
