Origin

This area is arguably as famous for the production of Armagnac Brandy, but has built a strong reputation for high quality white table wines, made for instant drinking and pleasure. This Domaine has 49 hectares under vine on clay and limestone soil, which is ideal for the varieties in the region.

Producer

Domaine Saint-Lannes has been owned by the Duffour family since 1955, with Michel Duffour at the helm since 1973. What makes Duffour’s wines stand out from the crowd is his strict viticultural practices; in what is a very fertile region, heavier pruning results in more concentrated grapes – achieving the desire quality in the finished product.

Grape Variety

80% Colombard , 10% Gros Manseng, 5% Sauvignon Blanc, 5% Ugni Blanc

The grapes were pressed in a pneumatic press. Each varietal is fermented separately in stainless steel tanks and kept on their lees for a few months prior to the blending which is done right before bottling.

Food Match

Seafood would make a perfect match – try a crab salad, perhaps spicy squid or prawns.

Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
