Dry Tokaji, Chateau Dereszla

Hungary | 2021

£12.60 a bottle

A great wine from three great grapes. Furmint gives acidity and body, Muskotály adds flavour while Kabar adds a touch of spice to this wine. The complexity is provided by some aging in wooden barrels.

First time trying Hungarian wine, this is a great example. Went down well as an aperitif with some smoked salmon canapes. Would buy again.
