Whispering Angel is today’s worldwide reference for Provence rosé. Made from Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle (Vermentino), its pale color is pleasing to the eye and draws one in. 20% Grenache, 20% Cinsault, 20% Rolle, 20% Syrah and 20% Tibouren
Grapes grown from some of the most choice land in the surrounding region of La Motte en Provence. Haresting at sunrise to noon. Grapes are sorted optically . Destemming and slight crushing at 7-8ªc to avoid oxidation. Both the free run juice and pressed juices are vinified in stainless steel. "Battonnage" is twice weekly.
As a negociant and vinificateur (winery), Caves d’Esclans identifies vineyards, grapes and wines from Château d’Esclans as well as local growers to make what has reputedly become the world’s greatest rosé. As their objective is to obtain the best quality grapes and wines, they have created good working relationships with the local grape growers, situated beside Caves d’Esclans, whose vineyards are treated with the same high standards of quality as are the vineyards of Château d’Esclans.
